"And a great one you'll make too!" boomed Slughorn.
"I don't think you should be an Auror, Harry," said Luna unexpectedly. Everybody looked at her. "The Aurors are part of the Rotfang Conspiracy, I thought everyone knew that. They're working to bring down the Ministry of Magic from within using a combination of Dark Magic and gum disease."
"Harry inhaled half his mead up his nose as he started to laugh. Really, it had been worth bringing Luna just for this.

Well! I think I'm finally done. Feel free to comment/suggest things. :D For the ~Hp-Art-Project This certainly took a while... I'm rather tired and my neck hurts... ^^; I hope it's good... been staring at it for a while, but I'm rather pleased. I'm gonna wait a few days before I submit it, in case I see some glaring mistake later or something. And no, Harry is not inhaling half his mead up his nose. Then you couldn't see his mouth which I really wanted to show. :XD: so no need to point that out. I really like the way the characters and their expressions came out. Slughorn looks exactly the way way I imagined and so did Luna. My first Trelawney and I'm happy. And Snape came out pretty sallow skinned. I must admit though that Cormac McGlaggen came out slightly more my version of Grindewald, but I don't mind. :D

And now... to do the other chapter I was assigned. ._.

EDIT 10/1/08: I had actually made a few finishing touches that I liked for the version I'd sent in to ani. They were sorta minor, but I changed up the lighting just the slightest. But for some reason Deviantart won't let me upload the COMPLETE version. :( Either way, it's no biggie..., but I thought I'd say so here.

I think you did an awesome job on this. I can't even express how much I love the way you did Luna-- she's perfect. And her dress. She's perfect. I also like Trelawney and all the detail you put into her outfit.
I really like the way you drew Slughorn's face, but it's seems a bit too big. I think it would work better if you made is body larger as well, but I can understand if you want to keep him at that height. But if you think about it scale wise, if Snape is around 6ft, that would make Slughorn about 3 and a half feet. But it's your choice.
Also, I'd suggest flipping the piece horizontally to check the composition of Hermione and Cormic. And his head seems a bit too big also.
I know it's annoying to hear suggestions after it's all finished, so you can ignore everything I just said. I still think it looks fantastic! It's going to look awesome in the book :)

Hahaha, no not at all! You're right about Slughorn. I always imagined him short, but he is much too short in this pic. I'll fix it. I drew Cormac and Hermione at a different time from the others so I must have switched to another style of mine where I draw characters with rather large heads... :XD: I'll try flipping the image to check the comp as you suggested. Thank you so much for your comments! They make me happy, and I really appreciate them! :love:
